Once all the stress of your exams is all over, and you’ve sorted out your apprenticeship, you’ll be ready to start your summer! You might decide to just go on holiday, which is great…but if you run out of things to do, check out some of these awesome ideas:
Take a trip to the beach
The UK is an Island, so we’re surrounded by beaches. Head on down to some of these great locations:
- Botany Bay in Kent
- Watergate Bay, Newquay in North Cornwall
- Compton Bay in Isle of Wight
- Walberswick in Suffolk
- Studland Bay in Dorset

- Saunton Sands in North Devon
- Blackpool Sands in South Devon
- Pentle Bay, Tresco in Isles of Scilly
There are even more beaches further afield, and in fact you’ll never be more than 70 miles from the sea wherever you are in Britain!
Go to a festival
If you’d prefer something more lively and energetic though then a festival will do the trick. The festival season is about to get started, so the timing is perfect, and if it’s a local festival it won’t break the bank either. ?
